Atlantic Combustion Technologies strives to provide the best technology possible for maximizing combustion efficiencies in a broad range of combustion environments. Through research and development, Atlantic Combustion provides industrial boiler operators with solutions that reduce operating costs, extend the life of boiler components, enable boilers to continuously meet or exceed design capacity, and reduce emissions so that our clients can help protect and preserve our environment. Formerly known as Atlantic Combustion Products Limited, the company began as a distributor for combustion catalysts used in fireplaces and woodstoves in the home. The product was marketed as a chimney cleaning agent that would help keep creosote from forming in the chimney, reducing the need for professional chimney cleaning services and helping reduce the risk of chimney fires. From these modest beginnings, Atlantic Combustion began to develop its own products and eventually introduced a new product for use in biomass boilers. Early successes prompted new innovations. Over time, the product matured into what is today known as CoMate® Fireside Additive.

Located in Nova Scotia, Canada, the company has established a manufacturing facility in the industrial town of Amherst. With access to world class container facilities and a competitive labor market, Amherst is an excellent location for manufacturing facilities. Atlantic Combustion's plant has over 7,500 sq. ft. of floor space and two story office complex attached to the plant. As an ISO 9001 certified company, Atlantic Combustion is dedicated to providing quality products and services.
